Hiking backpacks tend to be big enough to store a lot
of stuff since hiking, especially if you plan to go far, will require equipment. That's why they're so many things here.

Camera & A Notebook:
Hiking can be a good opportunity for sight-seeing and
when you're travelling somewhere where there is
beautiful scenery, isn't it better to have a remembrance? So, bringing a camera can be a good idea!

If picture-taking isn't your thing, maybe taking down notes and journalling can also help!

GPS:
It's better to be safe so bringing a GPS, a map and a compass, or an all-in-one tool is ideal for camping.
Getting lost in the wilderness can cost you a lot, and it
is a terrifying experience, to which bringing along
a GPS to track your steps could be useful.

Clothes:
If you're going to hike, it's advisable to have clothes with you, more so if you're going to spend a couple of days outside. Bring tee shirts and easy-to-wear clothes, that you can fold neatly.

First Aid:
Safety comes first! First aid kits are a must in all
outdoor activities. You'll never know what would happen, after all!

Food, Water & Cookware:
Canned food and energy bars are recommended since they have a lot of calories. Hiking can use a lot of energy, and replenishing your calories will make you energized throughout the day! Make sure you have plenty!

For water, pack atleast two liters!

Sleeping Bags & Tents:
Temporary shelter is probably the most important thing when it comes to hiking, so pack a sleeping bag that's easy to roll and sleep into, and a tent that is water-proof and is sturdy enough to last days or weeks!
